Using 12 marshmallows and half a packet of spaghetti the students had to make the longest structure they could. It proved challenging but fun. Some worked and some didn't Baxter ended up making a taller building.
This week we have been doing NAIDOC activities in class. In one we had to write down the story that we thought a piece of aboriginal art work was telling. Another activity we did was creating our own piece of aboriginal art and writing our own story to fit with it. We also learnt what the some aboriginal symbols mean. Like a U shape means a man. At our NAIDOC week assembly some students read out their story and showed their art.
