At the end of term 1 we had a disco and the theme was sport and exercise. It was a fun night. Our DJ Mr Enright played lots of awesome songs. The food from the canteen was yummy especially the nachos. By Stella and Charlie H.
3 way interviews will be taking place from Monday 3 April to Thursday 6 April. If you are yet to book a time, please return the note that went home last week or send a message. I look forward to meeting all families and sharing with you, your child's progress and work samples.
When we went to the botanical gardens we all went on a bush walk where we had to spot different things like fungi and gum nuts, did a work sheet and planted a seedling. We all learnt new words like photosynthesis and chlorophyll. We also learnt a fun fact that 97% of life on earth are plants!
by Charlie H Our class cleaned up the area around the Netball Courts at Captain Oldrey Park. Sadly we had to pick up a lot of rubbish. We thought we might ask the Council to supply more red bins around the Netball Courts as the closest ones are near the football field. We found old bits of television, hubs of cars, empty drink cans and lots of paper. By William
We are helping Ms Dorney prepare for the Southeast Harvest Festival. Our school will be setting up a stall on Saturday 1st April at Riverside Park Moruya. Ms Dorney needed photos for some advertising and we helped out by weeding the garden, feeding and caring for the chickens and taking part in the colouring in competition. It was fun.
